The Jackal is an elusive assassin who makes his living committing murders for the biggest sums of money. Why was she cast in this role when there are so many actresses who could do it better? It baffles me. Her character is not interesting, just another role of an obsessive agent. Eddie Redmayne can do it all, his acting range is impressive, from drama to musicals to movies. He never disappoints. In this role, he is solid in everything he plays. The plot is interesting and captivating… it’s funny how we applaud the Jackal… Not for the MÍ 6 agent. The location of the series is impressive and the plot is a high octane thrill. It is not comparable to the original, it is an adaptation worthy of our times.
